This Privacy Policy describes LumaSense Technologies, Inc.’s ("Lumasens" or "we") current policies and practices with regard to personal data collected by LumaSense through its websites, lumasenseinc.com, lumasensetech.com, luxtron.com, and innova.dk (collectively the “LumaSense Websites”). This Privacy Policy is independent from LumaSense’s offline personal data collection practices. The term “personal data” refers to personally identifiable information about you, such as your name, birth date, e-mail address or mailing address, and any other information that is identified with you personally, including your individual health information.

It is very important that you read and understand our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept the terms set out in our Privacy Policy, please do not use the LumaSense Websites.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will advise you that changes have been made by posting a notice on the LumaSense Websites. Collection of Personal Data

Other than cookies, as described below, the only personal data LumaSense currently collects through the LumaSense Websites is the information you voluntarily give us when you use our the LumaSense Websites.

For example, you may use the LumaSense Websites to contact LumaSense with questions and comments. When you fill out a form on any LumaSense Website, you may provide your name and other contact information, including your company’s name, your e-mail address, and your mailing address or the mailing address of your company or other personal information. If you do not wish to fill out all of the information on the form you are not required to do so. Most of our registration forms require only your name and e-mail address. When you submit information to us through a LumaSense Website, you will receive a confirmation e-mail if you enter a valid e-mail address. When you use the LumaSense Websites to search for information on products or procedures you are not providing us with any personal information. We offer the search features as a service to you. LumaSense does not collect or retain any identifying information about you when you use the search features.

To provide website visitors more choice on how their data is collected by Google Analytics, Google has developed the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Use and Disclosure of Personal Data

LumaSense uses the personal data information you provide to answer your questions or resolve your problems. LumaSense and its affiliates also use this information to help us improve the content and functionality of the LumaSense Websites, to better understand our customers and markets, and to improve our products and services. We may use this information to contact you in the future to tell you about products or services we believe will be of interest to you. If we do so, each communication we send you will contain instructions permitting you to “opt-out” of receiving future communications.

Similarly, we may provide “subscription” e-mail services, either directly or through our affiliates, which enable you to receive current news about LumaSense’s products or related conditions and procedures. Collection of Anonymous Data

In addition to the information you provide when you use the LumaSense Websites, LumaSense uses technology to collect anonymous information about the use of the LumaSense Websites. For example, we use technology to track how many visitors access the LumaSense Websites, the date and time of their visit, the length of their stay, and which pages they view. We also use technology to determine which web browsers our visitors use and the address from which they accessed our sites (for example, if they connected to a LumaSense Website by clicking on one of our banner ads).

Security

Children

LumaSense does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of thirteen. If you have reason to believe that a child has provided personal data to LumaSense, please contact us, and we will try to delete that information from our databases. To best protect your child’s privacy, we suggest that you carefully supervise your child’s access to the Internet and the LumaSense Websites. Governing Law

This privacy policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions and as such are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States of America. By using the LumaSense Websites, you consent to personal jurisdiction in the federal and state courts of Santa Clara, California, for any action arising out of or relating to the LumaSense Websites or your use of the LumaSense Websites, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all such actions.
